action

Captain Viktor Nemetz has two problems to contend with on this trip. On the one hand, his wife Elke informed him immediately before departure that she wanted a divorce. On the other hand, his envious co-pilot Rolf Erhardt wants to lure him into a trap in Rio with the help of the stewardess Sabine, so that he misses the onward flight. The plan goes wrong, however, because Sabine discovers her heart for the captain.

The young fellow traveler and pastry chef Herbert Lütgers accompanies his mother on this trip. Ms. Lütgers pretends to be seriously ill and would like to bind her son to her. But Herbert soon saw through his mother's game. With the help of the tour guide Sylvia Baretti, he begins to detach himself from the influence of the dominant lady.

To the displeasure of his wife, the retired detective Karl Gräbel senses crimes everywhere, even on vacation. By chance he comes across an attempt at fraud. A young Brazilian woman claims to have a son from tour guide Armin Jobst. Karl Gräbel can prove that this claim is not true.
