Happy Travel - Philippines is a German television film by Hermann Leitner . The production of the sixth part of the television series Happy Journey took place in March 1992 in Manila and on the island of Cebu . The film premiered on December 5, 1992 on ProSieben .

The aircraft crew consists of Captain Viktor Nemetz ( Juraj Kukura ), his co-pilot Rolf Erhardt ( Volker Brandt ) and the stewardesses Verena Bernsdorf ( Anja Kruse ), Sabine Möhl ( Alexa Wiegandt ) and Petra Lotz ( Jennifer Nitsch ). The tour guides Sylvia Baretti and Armin Jobst are given by Conny Glogger and Amadeus August . Claudia Rieschel and Hans Clarin can be seen as guest actors .

action

On the flight from Bangkok to Manila , the seven-year-old orphan boy Raj is discovered in a luggage compartment. He ran away from an orphanage in Thailand and hid on board as a stowaway. Captain Nemetz and his surprisingly arrived wife Elke take loving care of Raj in the Philippines. They get closer again and stewardess Sabine realizes that her affair with Viktor was probably only of a fleeting nature.

Arnold Schwarzenecker, director of a botanical garden, is fascinated by the local female beauties and doesn't even notice that the inconspicuous laboratory assistant Ilonka Greve, who was traveling with him, fell in love with him. Only when Ilonka, with the help of the tour guide Sylvia, transforms from a wallflower into an attractive woman, Arnold's eyes open.
