Claudia Rieschel

Claudia Rieschel (born November 30, 1950 in Hamburg ) is a German actress .

Life

She is the daughter of Hanspeter Rieschel, who later became the administrative director of the Frankfurt City Theaters, and of the actress Viola Wahlen . Her grandmother is from Sweden and she has two younger sisters.

After graduating from Schiller-Gymnasium in Frankfurt, she completed the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna. From 1971 to 1974 she was part of the ensemble of the Theater in der Josefstadt , after which she decided to work as a freelance actress.

She has made guest appearances at numerous theaters in Germany and repeatedly appeared in television series. In the ZDF series Die Albertis , she had a permanent role as a housekeeper from 2004 to 2005.

Claudia Rieschel is a committed animal rights activist in the Hamburg Animal Welfare Association. She also supports and promotes the Costura project in Recife, Brazil.
