Volle Kanne (until 2001 Volle Kanne, Susanne and from 2001 Volle Kanne - Service daily ) is a service magazine on ZDF that is broadcast live from Monday to Friday from 9:05 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Occasionally, as on the ZDF broadcast days for the Olympics , only a correspondingly shorter compact version of the program is broadcast.

history

The first broadcast was broadcast in August 1999 under the name Volle Kanne, Susanne with the presenter Susanne Stichler and was initially half an hour. At the beginning of 2000 it was extended to one hour and from then on Stichler moderated the show named after her in alternation with other moderators. As a result, the show was renamed Volle Kanne Service daily in December 2001 . At the beginning of November 2003, ZDF extended the broadcasting time to 85 minutes and integrated the health magazine Praxis , which had just been discontinued, daily with Günter Gerhardt as a permanent column. Since then, Armin Roßmeier has been cooking in every program in the “Simply delicious” category. In a product overview, he goes into the peculiarities of the mostly seasonal ingredients and provides nutritional information, for example for diabetics. The Düsseldorf master confectioner Heinz-Richard Heinemann serves cakes and pralines. On February 22, 2008 the anniversary of the 2,000th program was celebrated, on April 5, 2012 the 3,000th program was broadcast.

broadcast

Every program has a prominent “breakfast guest” who can ask the viewer questions. At the beginning of each program, the “top topic” deals with a current topic from the areas of law, family, work, finance or health. Instead, on Fridays, the “Oh, so!” Section summarizes the most important consumer topics of the week. Since March 13, 2006, Florian Weiss has been explaining everyday curiosities, physical phenomena or the origin of well-known proverbs as a “know-it-all”. The viewers are also regularly involved in the broadcast through a guessing game. The “Oh, what ?!” section reports daily on gossip from the world of stars. Society expert Patricia von der Heyde sometimes deals with this more intensively. Elmar Mai regularly gives gardening tips.

Special expenses

The show is produced in Düsseldorf . Volle Kanne open air comes from other places a few times a year . Previous production locations were Gran Canaria , the Prosper-Haniel mine in Bottrop , Garmisch-Partenkirchen , the Seiser Alm in South Tyrol, Ellmau am Wilden Kaiser and Heringsdorf on Usedom . According to the ZDF, costs of around 45,000 euros are estimated per issue.
