Happy Journey - Canada is a German TV film directed by Peter Weissflog . The production of the twelfth part of the television series Happy Journey took place in August 1992 in Toronto , at Niagara Falls and on Sorenson Island in Canada . The film premiered on January 16, 1993 on ProSieben .

The aircraft crew consists of Captain Viktor Nemetz ( Juraj Kukura ), his co-pilot Rolf Erhardt ( Volker Brandt ) and the stewardesses Verena Bernsdorf ( Anja Kruse ), Sabine Möhl ( Alexa Wiegandt ) and Martina Mikorey ( Dana Geissler ). The tour guides Sylvia Baretti and Andreas von Romberg are given by Conny Glogger and Thomas Fritsch . Diana Körner , Reiner Schöne , Raimund Harmstorf , Hans Georg Panczak and Rose Stella can be seen as guest actors .

The brothers Reinhold and Jörg Wismar want to go on a trekking tour through Canada's wilderness and are very happy that the stewardesses Sabine and Martina are spontaneously willing to accompany them. Reinhold would like to use this opportunity to show his fearful brother that he is a tough guy. However, the tour is anything but happy for him. First the small group has to give up the defective off-road vehicle and Reinhold breaks his leg on the march that follows. Only with the help of his brother and the two stewardesses does he survive the trip.

Svenja Reventlow accidentally discovers her husband Edgar among the visitors to Niagara Falls, who fled to Canada ten years ago after a fraud affair. With the help of Viktor Nemetz, she goes on a search and finally discovers that Edgar has started a second life in Canada and lives happily here with an Indian woman and a small son.
