Gisela Peltzer

Gisela Peltzer (born September 26, 1926 in Hamburg ) is a German actress .

Life

After high school and acting classes, she made her debut in 1944 at the Städtische Bühnen Frankfurt am Main . From 1949 to 1955 she was a member of the ensemble of the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg, from 1955 to 1959 she was engaged by Willy Maertens at the Thalia Theater there .

From 1959 on she had a permanent engagement at the Renaissance Theater in Berlin and was mainly involved in plays by Ibsen and Shakespeare . In addition, Gisela Peltzer gave guest appearances on other Berlin theaters, especially the comedy. There she could be seen early on in some theater recordings on television. In 1985 she moved to the Boulevard Theater, occasionally directing . From 1946 she also worked for the radio. She took on supporting roles several times in film and television. There are some chanson recordings with Gisela Peltzer on record .

Gisela Peltzer was initially married to the conductor Harry Hermann Spitz (1899–1961). She entered into a second marriage with the actor Eckart Dux (* 1926). She too got divorced.
