Janette Rauch (born March 16, 1962 in Winterthur ) is a Swiss-German actress .

Life

Janette Rauch grew up as the daughter of a Swiss man in Berlin . She was part of the original line-up of the musical Line 1 at the Berlin Grips Theater . She played the leading role as a girl until 1989. Since then, Janette Rauch has played and starred in numerous German cinema and television films and series .

She became known to a larger audience through her role as "Sister Christine" in You are right with me and her role in the ZDF series Zwei alten Hasen . She was seen at his side in some of Hape Kerkeling's films. Since November 6, 2006 she played in the telenovela Rote Rosen ; after the departure of Angela Roy in episode 214 she also took on the female lead as gardener Alice Albers . From 2011 to 2018 she was a permanent member of the ZDF pre-evening series Notruf Hafenkante .

For several years she has been on tour with her project Märchen-Kosmos .

Janette Rauch lives in Hamburg .

Among other things, Janette Rauch is involved as an ambassador for Bremen Children's Day. Until 2010 she was the patron of the Löwenherz children's hospice in Syke near Bremen.
