White and blue stories is the title of a German television series with Bavarian flair.

Different scriptwriters write the cheerful, self-contained stories (one to four per broadcast) of the over 50 episodes . Each of the programs produced jointly by ZDF and ORF last between 45 and 60 minutes.

actor

The focus of the entertaining, mostly tongue-in-cheek stories are different characters that change from one sequence to the next.

At the beginning of the series, Gustl Bayrhammer played many of these roles, since his death in 1993 the main characters have been portrayed by various actors. During the 1990s, well-known television actors with a Bavarian background took on changing roles in the episodes. Regular performances were especially Willy Harlander , Toni Berger , Christiane Blumhoff , Gerd German man and the Bairischen powerful Hans Clarin . After the death of most of the main actors, more and more episodes were produced around the turn of the millennium with well-known guest actors such as Wolfgang Fierek , Harald Krassnitzer , Christine Neubauer , Karin Kienzer and Christian Wolff .

Locations

The early episodes of the series were produced in Chiemgau .

From the mid-1990s onwards, many episodes were filmed in Austrian mountain landscapes (especially Tyrol , Salzburg ).

Episodes

The first episode was broadcast on November 4, 1984 (7.30pm - 8.15pm) on ZDF. The second episode was announced for November 18, 1984, but was broadcast on November 20, 1984 (8:30 pm - 9:15 pm) because of the day of national mourning. The third episode broadcast on December 2, 1984 (8.15–9.15 p.m.) with 4 stories for the first time was actually the very first to be produced, since the end of the credits clearly shows 1983, instead of 1984, as with the previous ones 2 episodes.

White and blue winter stories

In 1987 a special of the series was produced for the first time , at that time still under the title White and Blue Christmas . After the death of Gustl Bayrhammer, an independent offshoot was broadcast from 1994 under the title Weißblaue Wintergeschichten . Of this, one or two programs were produced each year, which were broadcast for the first time during the Christmas season.
