Wolfgang Fierek (born December 9, 1950 in Ottobrunn near Munich ) is a German actor and pop singer .

Life

Wolfgang Fierek's parents and brother Dieter were expellees from Upper Silesia who settled in Bavaria. Wolfgang Fierek did an apprenticeship as a precision mechanic after school and worked briefly in this profession. From 1970 he served as a contract soldier in the Bundeswehr for four years . He then worked as a truck driver, waiter and DJ in Munich.

Through his acquaintance with the Munich filmmaker Klaus Lemke , he came to acting in 1975, although he had never attended drama school. His first film was called Idole with Cleo Kretschmer . For the film Amore from 1978 he received the Adolf Grimme Prize . From 1983 Fierek played in several television series. First in Helmut Dietl's cult series Monaco Franze , later in the series Schloßherren . He then played in Zwei Münchner in Hamburg (ZDF) and finally from 1992 for Sat.1 in Ein Bayer auf Rügen , where Fierek played the title role more than 80 times until 1995.

In 1996 Fierek presented the entertainment series Wau on Bavarian television as a presenter . Then the ZDF series Tierarzt Dr. Angel and two men at the stove . In addition to his series, Fierek continued to make films. He has also made a name for himself as a pop singer. His biggest hit was the title Resi, i hol di mit mei'm tractor, written by Bernd Augener and Hanne Haller .

In 1994 he married the painter Djamila Mendil (* 1966) following a strict ritual of the Sioux Indians in the US state of South Dakota . After this Indian wedding, he was made an honorary Indian of the Sioux.

Fierek, who is a passionate Harley-Davidson rider, was seriously injured in an accident on April 24, 2003 through no fault of his own. He processes his experiences in the book With the Harley at the Heavenly Gate . During this time he was the namesake and co-owner of a Munich Harley dealer for several years.

Since episode 85 (2006) Fierek can be seen on Die Rosenheim-Cops as Ferdinand Reischl. Although he is part of the main cast, he is named "as a guest" in every episode. At the moment (episode 190) he is paused, since the end of 2010. From November 2013 Wolfgang Fierek worked again for television in the new BR series Hammer & Sichl .

On February 26, 2015 he presented his album Sweet Home Bavaria , which was released the following day and was produced by Harold Faltermeyer , in the Hard Rock Cafe Munich .
