Strong Times is a comedic German episode film from 1988. It premiered on May 12, 1988 in Germany.
overview
The film consists of several small episodes that take place in and around Munich and that were staged with a large cast of stars at the time. In addition to the actors Hans-Joachim Kulenkampff , Helmut Fischer , Hans Brenner and Gisela Schneeberger , well-known comedians such as Karl Dall , der Hias , Ottfried Fischer and Gerd Dudenhöffer appeared. The television presenters Rudi Carrell and Marijke Amado were also seen in supporting roles. For showmaster Rudi Carrell it was the first film appearance in 15 years.
Other roles included: Christine Schuberth , Otto Schenk , Volker Prechtel , Margit Geissler , Monika Baumgartner , Isa Haller and Wolfgang Fierek , as well as international actors and entertainers such as Michael Winslow , David Hasselhoff and Dey Young . The cutscenes were filled with the monkey from the music show Ronny's Pop Show , as this show was produced by the same film company. The individual episodes were directed by Otto Retzer , Rolf Olsen , Klaudi Fröhlich and Siggi Götz .
After its premiere in 1988, the film was released on video in October 1988 and was first cut on January 1, 1991 on RTL Plus's program, with the interludes with the monkey removed.

Troublesome times
Everyone in Munich knows the actor Helmut Fischer , who became known as Monaco Franze . He fits into this life, is always nice to everyone, writes autograph cards and tries to help when asked. Only himself does not make this special role happy.
Lousy times
The chamber actor Hans-Joachim Jennings has to realize that his crush just wanted to take him out. So he orders a bottle of plant poison from the florist Eugen Doleschal to put an end to his life. But the florist's undisguised greed for his inheritance reawakens his will to live.
Crazy times
Hias finds the attractive Christa in Rudi Carrell's Show Single Seeks Single . He drives to Gran Canaria to get to know her , but has the annoying competitor Hannes Blech as a competitor.
Turbulent times
When a water pipe bursts, beautiful Lilo floods her neighbor Frank's apartment. When trying to help her, he locks himself out of his apartment. When her first lover shows up, he hides under the bed, where he soon has company.
Bad times
The chemist David has found a pill that turns water into gasoline. Sheikh Abudallah fears for his oil business and makes him a million dollar offer, and the attractive Jessica persuades him to accept the offer.
Great times
The adored rock lady Dey actually only wanted to sponsor a baby, which is effective in the press, but Mike gets caught up in her love story through the wrong computer mediation.
