Zachi Noy ( Hebrew צחי נוי; also Tsachi Noy, Tzachi Noy, Zacki Noy ; * July 8, 1953 in Haifa ), born Tsachi Novobroder, is an Israeli actor . He was best known in German-speaking countries for his role as Johnny in the eight-part film series Eis am Stiel .

Life

As early as 1971, when he was in the army , Noy worked as a solo entertainer and, after his discharge from the military, worked as an entertainer in variety shows , hotels and nightclubs. His imitations of famous contemporary Israeli personalities and artists were particularly popular. Together with Eli Gorenstein he formed the comedian duo Mauer und Turm . In 1974 Noy's first film role followed in the sex film What Women Dream Of - The Orgasmologist (Ha-Diber Ha-11, 1975, Shlomo Suriano). The film, which is considered the first German-Israeli co-production, was banned in Israel because of semi-pornographic scenes.

Noy starred in the popsicle film series from 1977 to 1988 . He became a successful television star in his native Israel and won several television awards for his role in the Ramat Aviv Gimmel lawyer series . In addition to his acting career, Noy works as a comedian and makes German pop music.

In November 2010 he took part in the show Das Supertalent . In April 2013 he was seen in the show Frauentausch on RTL II for the ten-year anniversary of the show in the celebrity event. In November 2016 he had a guest appearance in the show Applaus und raus ( ProSieben ) by comedian Oliver Polak . In August 2017, Noy took part in the fifth season of Celebrity Big Brother on Sat.1 and was eliminated as the second candidate in the eighth show.

Others

In the documentary Eskimo Limon: Popsicle - From Winners and Losers from 2018 it was heard that Noy and other actors were forced to explicitly nude scenes during the filming. Furthermore, actors had to endure humiliation. According to the documentary, Noy has practically never left his role in the popsicle.

Martin Hentschel contradicted this point of view.
