Solo entertainer

A solo entertainer is an entertainer who performs an entertainment program without the participation of other people. The program of complete entertainer as a one-man show or one-woman show called, can among other word performances ( recitation , Conférence , comedy , cabaret ) and musical performances are made. In most cases, solo entertainers are musicians, but this is not always the case. When music is performed, it is often in the form of vocals or with portable instruments such as a guitar , keyboard , accordion, or harmonica . The audience is often included in solo entertainer programs, which can be done, for example, in the form of a quiz .

Lone entertainer programs are often presented in restaurants , at family or corporate celebrations, at church fairs , markets and on similar occasions. The German-language term solo entertainer therefore has a lower level of style than its English-language counterpart (solo) entertainer .

Solo entertainers have been around somewhat more widely since the 1920s. One of the roots of the solo entertainer lies in the American variety theater of the 1920s and 1930s; there the solo entertainer designed the times between the 'curtains'.

Most are solo entertainers self-employed , which operated in the part-time job to exercise, especially in the evenings and on weekends or holidays.
