Ernst Cohen

Ernst Cohen (* 1951 in Haifa , Israel ) is a German actor .

Life

Cohen, who was best known for his voluminous curly hairstyle in the 1980s, has appeared in numerous well-known TV series since the late 1970s, including Café Perjury , Peter and Paul and Der Bulle von Tölz . He became known nationwide for his role as Bertl Gruber in the series Die Hausmeisterin (with Helmut Fischer and Veronika Fitz , 1987-1992). According to his own statement, however, his actual calling was the theater stage (e.g. Vienna Burgtheater ).

In the late 1990s, the actor had to undergo serious brain surgery because of a tumor .

In Forsthaus Falkenau Cohen was from 2002 to 2010 regularly in the role of sawmill foreman Berghammer (initially Bergmaier to see). In 2003 he played alongside Hans Clarin and Christine Neubauer in the children's film Pumuckl and his circus adventure . In 2005 he took part in the Tatort episode Tod auf der Walz (with Miroslav Nemec and Udo Wachtveitl ). On May 19, 2006 he was seen in the ZDF series SOKO Leipzig in the episode full throttle . In it he played a workshop owner.

Ernst Cohen lives in Munich and works as a poet and author.
