Miroslav Nemec
Miroslav Nemec (born June 26, 1954 in Zagreb ) is a German actor , author and musician . Since 1991 he is best known as chief inspector "Ivo Batic", part of the Munich investigative duo Batic and Leitmayr , from the crime series Tatort .
Career
Miroslav Nemec was born into a Croatian family, the son of a bank employee. After his parents divorced, he came to live with relatives in Freilassing when he was twelve . He attended grammar school in Traunstein and founded the school band Asphyxia at the age of 15 , in which he is still a lead singer and keyboard player.
Nemec studied music with a focus on classical piano at the Mozarteum in Salzburg . In 1973 he took on German citizenship and finally graduated as a subject teacher for music. He then attended the drama academy in Zurich .
Since 1977 he has played theater, among others at the stages of the city of Cologne and Essen , at the Frankfurt Opera (1992/93 season as Puck in the Britten opera A Midsummer Night's Dream ), at the Munich Volkstheater and at the Bavarian State Theater in Munich .
Over time, however, he turned more and more to work in front of the television camera. He was seen in the television series Die Wiesingers as the son-in-law of the Munich brewery family and in the series Liebling Kreuzberg as a public prosecutor and opponent of Manfred Krug . In Derrick and Der Alte he appeared as the villain, finally switched sides and since 1991 has been seen several times a year as chief detective "Ivo Batić" in the crime scene together with Udo Wachtveitl .
In the Miro Nemec Band he is a singer, guitarist and keyboard player. He plays hand-in-hand with both groups for the Friends' Association . He started this in 1994 with some colleagues for war orphans in ex- Yugoslavia .
In the 1980s , Nemec was in a relationship with actresses Rita Russek and Janina Hartwig . Miroslav Nemec has two daughters, one from their first marriage, who divorced after a year. In 2013 he married his partner, with whom he has lived in Munich since 2000. In 2011 he presented autobiographical stories under the title Miroslav - Jugoslav . In February 2012 he became a father for the second time.
He is also involved as a volunteer ambassador for the Children's Hospice Central Germany Nordhausen Foundation . V. in Tambach-Dietharz , he is also a member of the support group of the Foundation of the German Police Union and the Federal Drama Association (BFFS) .
