Christine Schuberth

Christine Schuberth (sometimes also Christine Schubert ; born February 11, 1944 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actress .

Life

The trained seamstress began her acting career at the Löwinger-Bühne and was seen in films from 1965 onwards, which made her more and more a sex film actress. She had particular success in 1970 in the title role of a two-part film about the life of the Viennese prostitute Josefine Mutzenbacher .

As a theater actress and through increased television appearances, u. a. in the German television series Klimbim (1975), she was gradually able to break away from the cliché attached to her and play more serious roles. In the series Ein Schloß am Wörthersee (1990–1993, RTL ) she embodied the main character Ulla Wagner .

Her best-known role was that in the series Behind Bars - Der Frauenknast (1997-2007, RTL), in which she was seen in the role of Jeannette Bergdorfer for 10 years.
