The maddened stories - based on Honoré de Balzac is a German erotic pleasure game from 1968/69, based on the narrative collection Tolldreiste stories by Honoré de Balzac . Joachim Hansen and Edwige Fenech play the leading roles , the latter in their first German film.

action

The story is structured like an erotic dance. The young nobleman Fabian von Weyden, his lover Eugènie and the still very young niece Countess Annette invite you to an erotic rendezvous at their castle for a weekend. Invited are the pretty Arabella and the wealthy Phileas Leuwenstam, a man in his prime; a couple who have not yet consummated their marriage sexually. Manuel da Silva and Felicitas, a couple who have since become estranged, also arrive at the lordly country estate. In order to get into the erotic mood across the board, one begins to read the sensual and daring story of Balzac. Guided by the bustling maid Sophie, there will soon be a lively sapling-swap game, which will also be joined by other guests. At an orgiastic- bacchante grape festival, all inhibitions and wrappings finally fall.

While everyone surrenders to each other, the master of ceremonies Sophie separates Annette and Manuel from the others, as she expects a lot from a change of partner. Manuel asks for his niece's hand and is surprised by Fabian. Sophie then brings Felicitas together with the much older Leuwenstam, who mistakenly mistook the breathtaking noblewoman for his wife in the dark of the night. When he realizes his mistake, Phileas wants to divorce his wife immediately and then marry the busty beauty. And she is well disposed towards this proposal. Finally, Fabian also strives for a marriage with Eugènie, and the ronde d'amour comes to a satisfactory end for everyone.

production

Producer Karl Spiehs was inspired to make this film by the successful landlady films by Franz Antel . The film passed the FSK examination on March 19, 1969 and was only approved for adults (18 and over) due to its revealing passages. The world premiere took place on April 18, 1969. The film was also titled Come, dear maiden and I ... awarded.

The buildings were designed by Fritz Jüptner-Jonstorff , the furnishings were designed by Robert Fabiankovich . The costumes come from Lambert Hofer . The producer Karl Spiehs engaged various contributors to this flick (Fenech, Rupp, Wolter, Ott) as well as the director Josef Zachar for his following erotic amusement game Alle Kitten like to nibble .

Reviews

The Catholic lexicon of international film criticized the film as a “stupid, crude, clumsy comedy that refers to Balzac.” The Protestant film observer saw it as a “German box office speculation on cinema voyeurs.” The one on a few Balzac motifs The stripes that were bumped together in the "maddening stories" emerged in dialogue in ambiguity and celebrated "with the camera not particularly imaginative the female skin like its numerous predecessors, rippling on the sex wave." The verdict was: "Boring and superfluous."

The magazine Filmecho / Filmwoche called the film a "tingling mixture of sex and humor, which results in great film fun." Europe's new sex star Edwige Fenech, Francy Fair, Catarina Alt and Angelica Ott are "all a feast for the eyes."
