Tom Schwoll
Tom Schwoll (* 1966 in Berlin ) is a German musician and songwriter. He is the guitarist of the punk rock band " Die Skeptiker ".
He spent his childhood in Aachen , where he played in 1979 in the school band "Prostatakids". After moving to Berlin in 1980, he dropped out of school and was active as a guitarist for various punk bands. a. for Destroyed Youth and Manson Youth . He also worked as a studio guitarist a. a. for pre-war youth or inferno . In 1987 he was a founding member of the hardcore / crosso association " Jingo de Lunch ", which he left in 1994 to join the Hagen NDW group " Extrabreit " a short time later . From 1997 he played guitar with the Berlin band “Die Skeptiker”. In 2000 he founded the " Kumpelbasis " project, which operates exclusively in Berlin, with various musicians from Kreuzberg . From 2006 he worked increasingly as a producer / sound engineer in various productions. Since 2007 he has been running the recording studio "Schaltraum", located in the former Nalepastraße radio building .
