Mike and Susanne are lovers who keep afloat by robbing banks. When they are followed by the police after a robbery on a jewelry store, they seek refuge in a butcher's shop, where they hide their prey inside a goose. When the butcher sells her geese, Mike and Susanne are desperately looking for the buyer who now owns the jewels. In spite of all efforts, her search remains unsuccessful. Ultimately, they discover that the nuns of a monastery acquired the goose and appropriated the jewelry hidden in it. Mike and Susanne forego the booty and continue to flee from the police.

The film is a production by Karl Spiehs , which is why it was mainly shot in Austria and around the Wörthersee . The Finkenstein castle arena on Lake Faak served as the backdrop for the Falco concert .
