Dieter Pröttel

Dieter Pröttel (born October 31, 1933 in Offenburg ) is a German television show and film director .

Live and act

Pröttel has a doctorate in economics and was music editor for Südwestfunk Baden-Baden for a long time. In 1962 he got his chance. Michael Pflegehar was ill, after which he took over responsibility for the then popular show Bonsoir Cathrin . More than 3000 television productions followed. Among other things, he moderated the music show Talentschuppen , where he presented his discoveries to Gaby Berger , Juliane Werding , Joy Fleming , Michael Schanze and Hape Kerkeling . In addition to numerous television shows, including Flitterabend , at the churning , Snack and Rudi Carrell Show , led Dieter Pröttel also directed the shot in the 80s films with Mike Krüger and Thomas Gottschalk . For the film money or liver! (1986) he also wrote the screenplay . From 1971 to 1977 Pröttel was also editor-in-chief at Bild und Funk .

The last time he was having fun on the television show Do you understand? Directed with Frank Elstner on October 21, 2006 in Freiburg im Breisgau . On December 16, 2006 he was actively behind the camera in Böblingen for the last time.

Dieter Pröttel is married to the book author Birthe Pröttel and the father of two sons.
