Mike Kruger
Michael Friedrich Wilhelm "Mike" Krüger (born December 14, 1951 in Ulm ) is a German comedian , actor , cabaret artist and singer .
Life
Mike Krüger is the son of Friedrich W. Krüger, an authorized signatory of the Norddeutsche Treuhandgesellschaft and later director of Bewobau , whose architect Richard Neutra impressed him early on. His mother died when he was three years old in a Paris hotel room. He attended the Peter Petersen Comprehensive School in Hamburg-Sasel . At the age of ten he switched to a boarding school in Büsum with a visit to the North Sea High School there . After graduating from high school , he completed an apprenticeship as a concrete worker and was also involved in the work on the new Hamburg Elbe tunnel . Its service as conscripts he made in 1973 as a radio teletype for the German navy in Flottenkommando in Glucksburg - Meierwik and Marine Fernmeldeschule in Flensburg - Mürwik and when Marinefliegergeschwader 1 (MFG1) in Kropp / Jagel . His comedic talent was already recognized there.
Following Kruger began at the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg , a study of architecture and lived in Norderstedt . During his student days, Krüger appeared on stage, including at the Danny's Pan folklore club in Hamburg, and received around 80 Deutsche Mark per evening. After his first record success Mein Gott, Walther , he gave up his studies in 1975 and toured with a stage program. Further record successes followed later (1980: Der Nippel ; 1983: Bodo with the Bagger ; 1998: world hits from Quickborn ). The nipple made it to number 1 in the German and Austrian charts .
At the beginning of 2010 Mike Krüger was art with his live program Is' das, or can it go away? on tour in Germany. Mike Krüger also celebrated his 35th stage anniversary in 2010 and performed at the Arosa Humor Festival in December of the same year .

Krüger became known nationwide for his presentation of the title Mein Gott, Walther in 1975 in the entertainment show Amlauf Band moderated by Rudi Carrell . He made a career as a presenter on television. Four against Willi ran from 1986 for three years in the Saturday evening program in the first . In 1991 he played the role of Bob Sager in several episodes of the series Ein Schloss am Wörthersee produced by RTL . From 1991 to 1993 he had the show named after him on SAT.1 The Mike Krüger Show . Also at RTL, Mike Krüger was part of the regular cast of the Friday evening show 7 days, 7 heads produced by Rudi Carrell from 1996 to 2005 . In the summer of 1997 he hosted all eleven episodes of the joke and story show Do you know the? . From 2005 to 2006 he was the presenter of the show Frei Schnauze . Since the end of 2006, he has been the successor to Wolfgang Völz in the advice team for the show Sag the Truth on SWR television . From 2006 to 2007 and in 2010 Krüger had several guest appearances as a police officer in the improv comedy show Schillerstraße on Sat.1 . On July 12, 2006, his new program Klüger with Krüger was broadcast on NDR television . From February 12, 2007, the program Der Comedy-Flüsterer ran on kabel eins , in which he remotely controlled a celebrity with a button in his ear . However, the show turned out to be a flop and was quickly discontinued. On August 27, 2007, ProSieben started his new program Krügers Woche . In 2008 Mike Krüger played with Funny Movie - Die große Prosieben Filmverarsche . Here he played Michael Meier in the episode H3 - Halloween Horror Hostel . He also played the head waiter Mike in the ARD hit song Das Musikhotel am Wolfgangsee . In 2010 Mike Krüger hosted the program So laughs the north . There he presented a mix of live comedy with guests and contributions from the NDR archive. He also took part in the television program Schlag den Star and lost to his opponent in the seventh game. In 2011 he played Chaos on the wedding day of the Sat.1 comedy series Spezial Einsatz, a Russian mafioso. In the same year he had a guest appearance on the heute show on ZDF .
Krüger advertised a coffee brand of the same name , the hardware store chain Hagebau and a railway company. Krüger's music partner Slizzy Bob contributes the music to the TV spots produced by Detlev Buck .
For the birthday program Mensch Jürgen! Which was broadcast on ARD in June 2018 ! von der Lippe turns 70 , he rewrote his song Bodo with the excavator for the birthday child.

From 1982 Mike Krüger shot the commercially successful, four-part entertainment film series Die Supernasen together with Thomas Gottschalk . Krüger also worked in other German comedies as a leading actor, so u. a. in money or liver! (1986) as a criminal, in Seitenstechen (1984) as a pregnant man and in Die Hochstarter (1988) as unlucky. He had a 5-second appearance in 1984 at the end of the film Mama Mia - Just don't panic with Thomas Gottschalk.
Mike Krüger's music producer partner Slizzy Bob (aka Robert Poerschke) contributed the two title songs Fantasy (1985) and Everything You Want (1989) in the films Seitenstechen and later in Die Wenkrechtstarter . Slizzy Bob, best known for his own 1980s hit Do You Want to Be My Girl , has worked with Mike Krüger on almost all of Krüger's musical projects since 1985.

Private
After his mother's early death, his father remarried. From this relationship he has a younger half-sister. Krüger has been married since 1976 and has a daughter born in 1979. After living in Quickborn for many years , he now lives with his wife in Hamburg .
