Schnickschnack was a German game show that was produced and broadcast by ARD from 1975 to 1977 . The first edition ran on April 15, 1975. The 45-minute show was initially shown irregularly on Tuesdays in the evening program. Later, after the broadcasting time was reduced to 30 minutes, the program was moved to Saturday afternoon. The show host was Klaus Wildbolz . The director was Frank Strecker .
The concept of the show was based on the American show format The Match Game . Some test programs had previously been broadcast under this title in the regional program Südwest 3 .
The game show was adapted in 1991 by NDR television under the title Punkt Punkt Punkt . It ran from 1992 to 1994 on Sat.1 and was moderated by Mike Krüger .
The game principle
Two candidates each played with the six prominent councilors present. The moderator gave a sentence and replaced one word with the term frills . Example: Peter couldn't go home without his bells and whistles .
The six celebrities then wrote down terms that they thought fit the gap. They made sure that the terms were as funny and silly as possible. The candidates then had to guess the terms of the celebrities; there were points for each match.
The principle of the game also included the super bells and whistles . Here Wildbolz mentioned part of a term, e.g. B. Children's frills . The candidates then added the term e.g. B. with prams, child benefit, nursery rhyme. The term most frequently mentioned in a survey was the super bells and whistles ; it was necessary to guess these.
The celebrity team consisted of a rotating pool of show stars. The most frequent participants were Hellmut Lange , Wolfgang Spier , Mary Roos , Caterina Valente , Karl Dall , Heinz Schenk , Klaus Havenstein , Edith Hancke , Vivi Bach , Beate Hasenau , Elke Sommer and Roberto Blanco .
