Heinz Schenk Foundation

The administrator of the estate is Horst Klemmer from Oldenburg in Lower Saxony , a personal friend and manager of Heinz Schenk for 40 years. During Schenk's lifetime, he was appointed to set up and manage a Heinz Schenk Foundation , which is funded from the estate. This should take care of the financial support of young musicians and other stage artists when starting their careers. Schenk's house in Wiesbaden, in which the childless couple lived for 45 years, was sold in favor of his planned foundation. It is to be demolished for a new building. Parts of the estate (clothing) were handed over to the President of the DRK Regional Association Oldenburg , Dieter Holzapfel , in Oldenburg in October 2015 as part of the refugee crisis in Europe 2015 for refugees in Oldenburg . In August 2016, an auction of over 9,000 items from the estate took place in favor of the foundation. In the couple's former home, the entire home furnishings came under the hammer, including Schenk's audio and video equipment, several Bembels and two Bambis .
