A cold would have been enough is a German tragic comedy that premiered on RTL Television on April 14, 2017 . The television film based on the autobiography of the same name tells the story of the German television actress and comedian Gaby Köster, who was paralyzed on one side by a stroke . This is embodied by the actress Anna Schudt .

Köster enjoys being on stage with celebrities like Günther Jauch , Mario Barth , Rudi Carrell , Mike Krüger or Ingolf Lück , and plays their role with zeal. But then she suffers a stroke. She is kept under the code name "Frau Peters" in the hospital in order to shield her from paparazzi . Her further path to recovery is also described, which aims to bring her back into the limelight.
