Frederik Wiedmann

Frederik Wiedmann (* 1981 in Stuttgart ) is a German composer .

biography

Frederik Wiedmann is the son of a surgeon and a high school teacher. His sister is the singer-songwriter Katrin Wiedmann . He learned the violin at the age of six and the jazz guitar at the age of 14. After graduating from high school, he moved to Boston , Massachusetts , where he studied at Berklee College of Music . After graduating with Summa Cum Laude in 2005, Wiedmann made his debut as a film composer for a feature film in 2006 with the horror film Blood Ranch directed by Corbin Timbrook . More than 80 film and television productions followed, including numerous B-movies . In 2016 he received a Daytime Emmy Award .
