Jarhead 3 - The siege is a feature film from the year 2016 . It is the sequel to the 2005 film Jarhead - Welcome to the dirt and the 2014 film Jarhead 2 - Back to Hell .

Corporal Albright is a member of the Marine Corps Security Guards . His first assignment isto guardthe US embassy in a capital in the Middle East from smaller demonstrations. However, apart from routine exercises, there is no task for the marines and so they pass their time with video games and small scuffles. An outnumbered group of armed and well-trained terrorists launched an attack on the embassy to kill an informant, although Albright recently recognized one of the attackers and passed his findings on to Ambassador Cahill . Since he does not believe him, the embassy staff are completely surprised by the attack. Inthe embassy shelter , the ambassador, the informant and a few employees have to wait until a MARSOC liberation squad led by Major Lincoln rescues them.

The film was released direct on DVD and BluRay in the United States in February 2016 . In Germany, the home theater market will be released on February 11, 2016.
