Michael D. Weiss

Michael D. Weiss is an American screenwriter who works primarily with Boaz Davidson .

Career

Michael D. Weiss took his first steps in the film business as a production manager for the film Curdled - Der Wahnsinn . Since then he has worked exclusively as a screenwriter. His debut was Crocodile from 2000, directed by Tobe Hooper . This was followed by the productions Octopus (2000) and its sequel Octopus 2: River of Fear (2001) and US Seals 2 (2001). In 2003 Weiss wrote the scripts for the films Con Rail and Disaster before working on the second sequel to I Know What You Did Last Summer in 2006 , I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer . This was followed in 2006 by Butterfly Effect 2 . In 2008 he worked on The Journey to the Center of the Earth and in 2011 on Hostel 3 as a screenwriter.

Weiss and Davidson worked together on the films Octopus , Octopus 2: River of Fear , US Seals 2 , Crocodile and Disaster . The collaboration consisted of Davidson developing the story for all of these films and Weiss working as a scriptwriter.
