Anna Schudt (born March 23, 1974 in Konstanz ) is a German theater and film actress and International Emmy Prize winner.

Life

Anna Schudt, the older of two daughters from the marriage of a biochemist and a body therapist, grew up in Konstanz- Egg . She gained her first experience at the Konstanz Theater . Schudt left high school after the eleventh grade and received her training at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich at the age of 17 .

In 1994, at the age of 19, she became a permanent member of the ensemble of the Münchner Kammerspiele under the direction of Dieter Dorn . She was engaged for two seasons at the Berlin Schaubühne and from 2001 at the Bavarian State Theater in Munich, where she a. a. who played Louise in Schiller's Kabale und Liebe and Sonja in Uncle Wanja . From January 2006, Schudt was seen as Maria Stuart in the drama of the same name alongside Juliane Köhler on the stage of the Residenztheater des Staatsschauspiel in Munich. In 2010 she was Anna Karenina at the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus .

At the same time she works repeatedly for television. In 2006 Schudt took on one of the leading roles alongside Christian Berkel and Frank Giering in the new ZDF series Der Kriminalist . After a season she got out again because she did not want to be committed to one role and felt underchallenged. Since autumn 2012 she can be seen in the Dortmund investigation team Faber, Bönisch, Dalay and Kossik of the television series Tatort . She is also involved in radio productions.

Schudt has been married to the actor Moritz Führmann , with whom she has two sons, since 2010 and has another son from a previous relationship with Jens-Daniel Herzog , director of the State Theater in Nuremberg. The family lives with their three sons in Düsseldorf .

honors and awards

Together with the other actresses from the choir of women prisoners of war from Troy in Hekabe , Schudt received the Kurt Meisel Prize of the Association of Friends of the Bavarian State Theater in 2002 . She received this award again in 2006 for her portrayal of Maria Stuart at the Staatsschauspiel in Munich.

For her role as Gaby Köster in the television film Ein Schnupfen would have been enough , Schudt was awarded the International Emmy Award for Best Actress in 2018 and was nominated for the German Television Prize 2018 .

In 2019 she received the Bavarian TV Prize for her portrayal in Departure to Freedom and a nomination for the German TV Prize as best actress.
