Otto Düben

Otto Düben (born November 22, 1928 in Saarbrücken ; † August 31, 2018 in Stuttgart ) was a German radio play director .

Life

Düben studied at the State University of Music in Saarbrücken . From 1950 to 1957 he worked as an assistant director at SR and also gained experience at the theater. He then worked as a freelance director and permanent employee of the WDR , where he succeeded the production of the Paul Temple radio plays after the death of Eduard Hermann , before he became senior director and head of artistic word at SDR in 1968 .
