Margot Leonard-Quick (* 2. October 1927 as Margot Löbel in Chemnitz ) is a German actress . For decades she was one of the most sought-after voice actors , among others as the German standard voice of Marilyn Monroe and Brigitte Bardot .

Life

Margot Leonard received her first film role in 1949 in Man Don't Play With Love . She was a busy actress in film and early television productions during the 1950s . She also played theater in Berlin. From the 1950s onwards, Leonard was extensively involved in dubbing, which is why her appearances in film and television became increasingly rare. She is likely to be known to a wider audience through her role as Elfriede Zerfass in the ARD series Moselbrück .

For decades Leonard was one of the busiest voice actors and was the standard German voice of many international stars. She was cast as the congenial spokeswoman for Marilyn Monroe for a decade - between 1952 and 1961 - and preferred the actress in classics such as blondes , Some like it hot , The darn 7th year, or How do you get a millionaire? .
