The crime scene cleaner is a German comedy - TV series of the Norddeutscher Rundfunk (NDR) with Bjarne girl as a crime scene cleaner Heiko "Schotty" Scot in the lead role. All episodes were directed by Arne Feldhusen and the scripts were written by Mizzi Meyer . action

Bjarne Mädel plays the crime scene cleaner Heiko "Schotty" Schotte, who works as a building cleaner specializing in crime scene cleaners in Hamburg and the surrounding area and removes traces of deaths from people at crime scenes. It is not a crime series, rather the work of the crime scene cleaner is presented in a humorous way, with the criminal cases only playing a subordinate role. The focus is on chamber play-like scenes with a lot of situational comedy: Schotty meets completely strangers to his bereaved relatives and acquaintances of the murder victims (and in some episodes the perpetrators or even the ghosts of the victims themselves), and this in more or less bizarre situations, e.g. . For example, in the laboratory of a high-tech start-up, where a robot sex doll - which had previously caused the fatal sex accident and thus Schotty's assignment - uses her artificial intelligence to engage him in a conversation about feelings. Schotty is not an educated man, but a thoroughly intelligent man and masters the respective intellectual challenge through open-mindedness and curiosity. Schotty's connection with Hamburger SV is mentioned in several episodes , sometimes also discussed in more detail.

Episode list

reception

The first broadcast of the first season, which had not been announced by NDR and took place in the night program during the Christmas days of 2011, did not receive any particular audience response. For example, the second episode, broadcast on December 25th, only had 50,000 viewers. Thanks to a viral web campaign, however, "[...] a hype of support and outrage quickly developed in the Internet community [...]." The topic developed into an insider tip , especially in social networks such as Facebook and Twitter, and soon attracted a lot of press coverage after yourself. teleschau - the media service observed during this time "something like a nervous-euphoric twitching through the media landscape [...] Mind you, media hype, albeit manageable, that flared up without any firing from the broadcaster." The second broadcast of the first episode reached on January 4, 2012 already 670,000 spectators.

Spiegel Online was positive: "The crime scene cleaner with Bjarne Mädel offersgreatentertainment - and precisely that spirit and wit that isso painfully lackingin the honest, cheerful-to-deadly cosmos of ARD." The Süddeutsche Zeitung said: "When Bjarne Mädel as a 'crime scene cleaner' calmly removes the remains of human life and meets the strangest characters in the process, psychodrama and comedy are close together. Finally a really good series! ”The Hamburger Abendblatt judged:“ The crime scene cleaner is a chamber play worn by its actors. [...] NDR, Studio Hamburg and director Arne Feldhusen, also active at Stromberg , have achieved something great. "

The two episodes broadcast in the evening program of the NDR achieved very good ratings, especially among the young audience between 14 and 49 years of age. In this target group, the rate was 1.6 percent, well above the broadcaster average. The market share of the total audience was 2.7 percent.
