German Comedy Award 2017
The 21st award of the German Comedy Prize 2017 took place on October 24, 2017 as part of the 27th International Cologne Comedy Festival in Cologne . The presentation was moderated by Chris Tall .
The recording of the award ceremony was broadcast on the TV station RTL on Friday, October 27, 2017 at 8:15 p.m.

On the day of the award, the independent expert jury made up of jury president Johann König and jury chairman Ralf Günther decided on the winners. The jury also included the director Marco Musienko , the authors Ralf Husmann , Markus Barth and Anja Rützel and the managing director of Sony Pictures, Astrid Quentell.
