Lucas Edward Britton "Luke" Mockridge (born March 21, 1989 in Bonn ) is an Italian - Canadian comedian , author , producer , presenter and actor who lives and works in Germany. He grew up in Bonn and has Italian and Canadian citizenship.

Private life

Luke Mockridge is the son of the Canadian actor and cabaret artist Bill Mockridge , who founded the improvisational theater Springmaus in 1982 , and the Italian actress and cabaret artist Margie Kinsky . Mockridge grew up in Bonn- Endenich and has two older and three younger brothers who work as a director, musician, singer, actor and model. One of his brothers is the actor Jeremy Mockridge . At the age of 16, Luke Mockridge was invited to professional training by the football club Bayer 04 Leverkusen . He plays guitar and piano . He taught himself both as an autodidact . His godparents are Dirk Bach and Hella von Sinnen .

Mockridge received the International Baccalaureate in Bonn . He then studied media and communication science in Canada, England and Germany and graduated with a bachelor's degree in 2012 .

Career

Luke Mockridge (2014)

During his studies in Canada, he appeared in the stage program of the high school musical in the role of Chad. With his solo program I'm Lucky, I'm Luke! he toured Germany between 2012 and 2016. He can be seen regularly on television as a guest at the Quatsch Comedy Club , NightWash , TV total , RTL Comedy Grand Prix and Fun (k) haus . He is also the presenter of the 1LIVE lecture hall comedy and worked as a writer for Switch reloaded . In September 2013, his own comedy show Occupy School appeared on KiKA and ZDF . In 2013 he appeared on the YouTube channel Ponk . In the same year, Emma magazine named him “Pascha of the month” for gossiping about his ex-girlfriend and jokes about knockout drops .
