Murder with announcement - The Krimi-Impro Show is a German improvisation comedy show that has been broadcast on Sat.1 since March 2018 . The show, produced by RedSeven Entertainment , is recorded in front of a studio audience without a script , but the actors are assigned tasks by directing instructions. Bill Mockridge acts as director or narrator .
While the TV show was extended by another season in April 2018, an injunction and damages action was filed against Sat.1 in May 2018 . Even so, the eight-part second season aired from September 14, 2018, followed by a third.
concept
In each episode there is a murder case in a changing location. The participants only receive an outline of the plot in advance and have to continue the entire plot as improvised as comedically as possible and solve the murder case. In addition, the contributors receive instructions from the narrator, Bill Mockridge.

Production and broadcast
In July 2017 the broadcaster Sat.1 announced that a new improv comedy show with the working title Murder with Announcement had been commissioned, which will be broadcast as part of the block programming with the name “Fun Friday”. Three months later, in October 2017, Sat.1 announced further details. So was Bill Mockridge as narrator committed and Mirja Boes , Luke Mockridge , Kaya Yanar , Oliver Pocher and Lisa Feller as the main occupation. In addition, further appearances by changing guest stars were planned.
The show, produced by RedSeven Entertainment and initially designed for four episodes, was filmed from October 9 to 17, 2017 in Cologne and directed by Karim Durra . Among other things, Durra was responsible for the last season of the improv comedy show Schillerstraße , which was also broadcast on Sat.1 .
In January 2018, Sat.1 announced that the first four-part season will be broadcast from March 2, 2018 at 10:20 p.m. So she served as the lead-out of the comedy panel show Genial besides . The first episode was seen on March 2nd by a total of 1.96 million viewers. The last episode on March 23rd had 1.15 million viewers.
In April 2018, the show was extended for a second season. The season kick-off of the second season, which this time included eight episodes, took place on September 14, 2018 at 10:45 p.m.
The third season has been running since autumn 2019, sometimes first on pay TV on Sat.1 emotions .

Injunction and action for damages against Sat.1
In May 2018 it became known that Maike Tatzig , inventor and producer of the improv comedy show Schillerstraße , which was broadcast on Sat.1 from 2004 to 2011, had filed an injunction and action for damages against Sat.1. Tatzig justifies her approach with the fact that the format Mord mit Ansage completely takes over formative design elements of the format Schillerstraße . For example, the “driving forward of an improvised game action by the actors based on the initial situation through the dramaturgy leading, comedy provoking stage directions of the game master - who is shown as part of the game. The stage directions are only made available to the actors concerned (via a 'button in the ear') and the audience as well as the spectators (by inserting text) Personnel in front of and behind the scenes.
