Maike Tatzig

Maike Susan Tatzig (born June 22, 1973 in Minden ) is a German television presenter and television producer .

Career

After graduating from high school, Maike Tatzig completed a two-year training as a graphic designer ( design assistant ). She also received training in classical singing and modern dance. With the formation Art of Voice , she performed at various celebrations. Udo Jürgens engaged her in 1997 for his city tour through Germany, Austria and Switzerland, where she sang the duet Never give up with him . After that she was a tour guide on the Calypso for eight months and was a permanent part of the show team on the Astor .

She was discovered for television in the studios of the Magic Media Company as a game technician for the show Hast Du Töne? . She then moderated the call quiz Call-TV in 2000 and six months later until mid-2001 Big Brother  - The Quiz, which was broadcast at 1 a.m. on RTL II (180 episodes, two seasons, live). “Thanks to her, many viewers stayed awake until two o'clock every day for weeks,” especially since she occasionally showed herself in the shower.

In 2002 she hosted the show Tanzmarathon (live) together with Hugo Egon Balder . Further moderation: Deep TV - Tauchmagazin ( N24 , eight episodes) and Big Diet - Der Countdown (RTL II, ten episodes, live).

Tatzig developed the comedy - Improvisation show Schillerstraße ( Sat.1 , 2004-2007, 2009-2011), in which she also executive produced was. From the end of September 2005 to 2011 she was also the successor of Georg Uecker in front of the camera as a game director.

Maike Tatzig is married to the television producer Marc Schubert.
