Verona Pooth (*  thirtieth April 1968 as Verona Feldbusch in La Paz , Bolivia ) is a German presenter , entrepreneur , actress and model .

Life

Childhood and youth

Pooth's parents are the German mechanical engineer Ernst Feldbusch (1927 / 28–2003) and the Bolivian hairdresser Luisa Feldbusch (1935–2015). In the first year of Verona Pooth's life, the parents moved with her and her brother to Hamburg, her father's hometown. When she was ten years old, the parents divorced.

She then grew up with her mother and attended a secondary school in Hamburg . When she was approached by an advertising photographer on the street at the age of 15, she began working as a model . At the end of the 1980s, she attended the Holzdamm commercial and commercial college without a degree.

Music career

During a visit to a discotheque in 1990, the DJ Alex Christensen approached her to sing the song Ritmo de la Noche . With Pooth as part of the Chocolate formation, the title reached number 23 in August of that year and stayed in the German single charts for 21 weeks, and eighth in the Dutch charts . Ritmo de la Noche became a summer hit across Europe in 1990 and also hit the charts in Great Britain , France and Spain . Success in beauty pageants

From 1989 Pooth successfully participated in several national and international beauty contests. As Miss Hamburg , she took second place in the Miss Germany Company's choice of Miss Germany in 1990. In 1993 she was again Miss Hamburg and Miss Germany of the Miss Germany Association (MGA). She then represented Germany worldwide as the beauty queen. She participated in the 1993 Miss World election in Sun City ( South Africa ) and won the Miss Intercontinental World title in the same year and the Miss American Dream title in 1995 .

Television career

From 2002 to 2004 she marketed lingerie and jewelry under the label Veronas Dreams in the Karstadt branches and at Otto-Versand . The company Verona's Dreams - Feldbusch GmbH was founded in 1998 by her father. In 2008, Pooth agreed the exclusive marketing of its So ... Perfect cosmetics line with the teleshopping broadcaster HSE24 for an initial two years.

Promotional activities

Their quickly growing level of awareness helped Pooth to win several advertising contracts. For the telephone information of Telegate she made the slogan "Because you will be helped!"
