Larissa Riess

Larissa Riess (born May 28, 1988 in Quito , Ecuador ), also known as Lari Luke , is a German radio and television presenter , actress and DJ . She is a presenter at the radio station 1 Live and was a member of the ensemble at Neo Magazin Royale .

Career

Radio

Rieß grew up in Ecuador , Portugal and Heidelberg and speaks fluent German, Spanish, Portuguese and English. She studied audiovisual communication in Barcelona for two years and completed her studies in media and communication sciences as well as Romance studies in 2013 at the University of Mannheim with a Bachelor of Arts. Parallel to her studies, she completed a traineeship at the radio station Energy Munich and Jam FM Berlin, where she presented her own program Larissa in the afternoon . In addition, she moderated the campus alarm clock on the university radio station Radioaktiv .

In 2014 she switched to the radio broadcaster bigFM , where she soon presented the morning show Drei Engel for Germany together with Julia Porath and Susanka Bersin . The publication of her private cell phone number, allegedly against her will, turned out to be a fake and was criticized by the State Office for Communication (LfK) as “dubious in terms of media ethics”.

Since 2015 she has been a presenter at the radio station 1 Live . There, in addition to various programs in the daily program, she moderates her own program 1LIVE Go every Friday .

Television and cinema

Riess became known to a wider audience through her work as a member of the ensemble at Neo Magazin Royale . There she has been performing in various roles since 2015, including as “Larissa Parieß”, alongside Jan Böhmermann , where she has her own sections called “Rieß mal Neo” and “Riess' Kosmos”.

In 2016 she stood in front of the camera with Jan Böhmermann and Olli Schulz on the show Schulz & Böhmermann .

In December 2016 Rieß worked for the sports show and the TV channel ARD ONE. She took over the moderation of the Big Air World Cup, in which the world's best snowboard and freeskiers compete against each other.

Rieß has been part of the jerks series since February 2017 . to see. There she plays the agent of the two main actors Christian Ulmen and Fahri Yardım . The series is broadcast on maxdome and on ProSieben's free TV as well as on its own streaming service Joyn .

Riess took on her first film role in the comedy film Fack ju Göhte 3 .

As "Lari Luke", Riess tours Germany as a DJ. She plays a mixture of future bass , trap and house . In addition to festivals such as Rock am Ring , Nature One and the Summerjam Festival, she played at the Juicy Beats Festival on the main floor for three years in a row . In September 2016 she accompanied the rapper Rockstah as a DJ on his concerts.

In October 2016 she released her first album called Firebird under the pseudonym “Larissa White” , which she wrote herself and produced together with Niels Reinhard . Together they produced music videos for the two singles Night Is Over and Catfight , directed by Reinhard and Rieß took on the lead role.

Rieß starred as the leading actress in the music video for It's a Catalog by the band Get Well Soon .

Gaming

Rieß is active on the live streaming video portal Twitch . There she makes Let's Play videos on the laristoyboy channel . In it, she plays and comments on video games live and in a humorous way.

In the point-and-click adventure game Royale 2: The Secret of Jannis Island , Rieß is represented as a separate character alongside Böhmermann. She synchronized her role herself.
