Rockstah (born February 27, 1984 in Rodgau ; real name Max Nicolas Nachtsheim ) is a German podcaster and rapper .

Career

Rockstah won his first freestyle battle in Aschaffenburg in 2005 . Parallel to his training as a media designer, he wrote and published several demos and mixtapes . The mixtape Glamrockrapper , published in 2008, has been downloaded around 10,000 times. In 2010 the second mixtape Glamrockrapper II and the first album Nerdrevolution followed . In the following years he toured with Olli Banjo , Prinz Pi , the Orsons and Casper , completed his first own tour in December 2010 and played at festivals like 2011 on the in the following yearsSplash! or in 2012 at the mini rock festival and Spack! Festival . In 2012 he toured with Ahzumjot and Cro on the Crockstahzumjot tour. The album Pubertät was released in 2014 and entered the German album charts at number 37.

Since 2014 he has been running the Radio Nukular podcast with Christian Gürnth and Dominik Hammes, which deals with pop culture topics and his own experiences. In 2015 he started another podcast called Rumble Pack , which he left at the end of 2018 and which is now being continued without him. The film and series podcast Im Autokino started in 2016, and since then he has grown into a major project with the rapper and entertainer Christian Blos with live performances and tours. From 2015 to 2017 he moderated the green screen video format for Microsoft Xbox , which dealt with Xbox One game titles . In November 2016 he started the podcast Binge Boys together with Dominik Hammes for the media offer funk from ARD and ZDF . a podcast that presented and discussed the series offerings from funk . The podcast was discontinued by funk despite stable audience numbers in 2017.

On August 20, 2018, he announced his new album Cobblepot , which was released on October 26. On the day of the announcement, he also released The Penguin, the first single from his new album.

His father Henni Nachtsheim became known as part of the comedy duo Badesalz .
