Niels Reinhard

Niels Reinhard (born April 16, 1987 in Heidelberg ) is a German music producer , short film and music video director as well as founder and part of the electro house duo Laserkraft 3D .

Career

Niels Reinhard made a name for himself from 2004 as a DJ Groovejuice in the school and student scene in Mannheim . Club appearances and regular bookings as a resident DJ followed in the Deep in Heidelberg and in the Mannheim Ritzz .

After school, Niels Reinhard and Tim Hoffmann studied digital media at the Mannheim University of Cooperative Education . Together with other fellow students, they shot the short film Solo Recordings there in 2008 as part of the Solo2070 project , which attracted attention beyond the university. In addition, Niels Reinhard was also the author and director of a multi-part campus soap Heroes of the Campus - Studying for Beginners (2007) and Heroes of the Campus - Studying for Advanced Students (2008), which was one of the first German web series, and various short films.

From 2009, Niels Reinhard and Tim Hoffmann joined forces under the name Laserkraft 3D. They worked out an electronic (stage) live act. For the first time the two attracted attention with the piece of polyester . On her second title No, Man! (2010) they combined the music and their short film experience from their joint studies and shot their own music video in which they filmed the spoken word of the piece with pictograms and black light effects. Your video sparked a viral hype and was viewed more than 32 million times on YouTube (as of October 2015). The title rose to number 1 in the German dance charts in August and was then released as a single. At the beginning of September it entered the top 10 of the German and Austrian single charts. Also in Switzerland, the Netherlands and Belgium No, man! place. After that, Niels Reinhard and Tim Hoffmann toured mainly in Europe, but also in Mexico and Azerbaijan, and were represented at international festivals such as Nature One , SonneMondSterne , Urban Art Forms Festival and Time Warp Festival .

Niels Reinhard directed all Laserkraft 3D music videos, most of them together with Tim Hoffmann. He also created and created the band's stage and outfit design.

In 2013, Niels Reinhard and Tim Hoffmann produced the title song for Coca-Cola Germany's Internet summer campaign "Drink a Coke with ..." . In a cooperation they created the interactive music video Dancing Bottles as Laserkraft 3D together with the brandnewmusic agency and the filmmaker Kamerapferd , in which the viewer of the video could determine which names should be on the Coca-Cola bottles. At the closing event of the campaign, they played at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin on the Day of German Unity in front of around 700,000 visitors.

In the winter of 2013 to 2014 Niels Reinhard worked in the team of the Internet TV station zuio.tv, a subsidiary of Axel Springer SE , and produced music and videos. He has directed music video projects. He also worked as a motion graphic designer and in various positions on film and television sets, for example at the Wiesbaden crime scene . He produced the album in 2016 published Larissa White - Firebird of Larissa Riess .

Reinhard has been working as a screenwriter and story developer since 2017, as well as a motion graphic designer (VFX) for film production companies such as Pantaleon Films and UFA Fiction .
