Laser power 3D
Laserkraft 3D is a German electro house project from Mannheim and Kaiserslautern . With her song No man! and the accompanying music video, they became internationally known via YouTube . To date, Laserkraft 3D has sold around 230,000 plates in Germany. She got the most sales with her single No, man! .
Career
Niels Reinhard , formerly also known as DJ Groovejuice, made a name for himself as a DJ in Mannheim's school and student scene from 2004. Club appearances and regular bookings as a resident DJ followed in the Deep in Heidelberg and in the Mannheim Ritzz .
Tim Hoffmann became known in 2005 as the front singer of the rock band Frayed Froods from Kaiserslautern. Influences from the areas of blues, ska, rock, jazz and house shaped her sound. The band broke up in 2007.
After school, Niels Reinhard and Tim Hoffmann studied digital media at the Mannheim University of Cooperative Education . Together with other fellow students, they shot the short film Solo Recordings there in 2008 as part of the Solo2070 project , which attracted attention beyond the university. In addition, Niels Reinhard was also the author and director of a multi-part campus soap and various short films.
From 2009, Niels Reinhard and Tim Hoffmann joined forces under the name Laserkraft 3D . With the help of their experience in the DJ and rock band sector, they worked out an electronic (stage) live act. For the first time the two attracted attention with the piece of polyester . With her second title No, Man! they had a great success in 2010. They combined the music and their short film experience from their joint studies and shot their own music video in which they filmed the spoken word of the piece with pictograms and black light effects. Your video sparked a viral hype and was viewed more than 32 million times on YouTube (as of October 2015).
The song rose to number 1 on the German dance charts in August and was then released as a single. At the beginning of September it entered the top 10 of the German and Austrian single charts. Also in Switzerland, the Netherlands and Belgium No, man! place.
Laserkraft 3D toured mainly in Europe, but also in Mexico and Azerbaijan. From 2011 to 2013 they played on the main stage of one of the largest European festivals for electronic music, Nature One, and were represented at international festivals such as SonneMondSterne , Urban Art Forms Festival and Time Warp Festival . Niels Reinhard and Tim Hoffmann directed their music videos and produced most of their videos and media themselves, such as artwork, audiovisual media or show design.
In 2013 Laserkraft 3D produced the title song for the Internet summer campaign “Drink a Coke with…” from Coca-Cola Germany. In cooperation with the brandnewmusic agency and the filmmaker Kamerapferd they created the interactive music video "Dancing Bottles", in which the viewer of the video could decide which names should be on the Coca-Cola bottles. At the closing event of the campaign, various artists, such as Y-Titty and Laserkraft 3D, who have become known on the Internet, played at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin on the Day of German Unity . The Coke Festival of Happiness attracted a total of around 700,000 visitors to the Brandenburg Gate. From 2014 onwards, the Laserkraft 3D project remained quiet until they released the single "No matter where" on August 26, 2016 on WePlay and Warner Music Germany.
