Jonas Becker , better known as DJ Katch , is a German DJ and music producer specializing in hip-hop and electronic music from Frankfurt am Main . He became known worldwide through the singles The Horns and Lights Out (Too Drunk) .

biography

Jonas Becker's fascination for DJing was awakened in his youth when he saw a DJ set-up live for the first time at a neighbor's friend. Encouraged by this, he bought his first DJ equipment, which he also used to finance newspapers.

Numerous productions and remixes for other artists, his own publications and his collaboration in projects such as Die Freunde der Sonne with Kool Savas , Illmatic and DJ Release, who wrote, recorded and mixed their album Nur Noch 24 Stunden within a day, pushed him into the international market Spotlight on the rap and EDM scene. He has already performed in more than 30 countries and his songs are enjoying great international popularity, some with millions of hits on popular streaming and video platforms such as Spotify and YouTube . For example, his song The Horns was played before the boxing match between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao in Las Vegas .

He was resident DJ in Sven Väth's trendy nightclub Cocoon and organized the party series DJ Katch's Urbanice in the Gibson Club in Frankfurt am Main .
