Illmat! C (born January 14, 1973 in Bad Pyrmont ; real name Costa Meronianakis ) is a Frankfurt rapper of Greek descent who is produced by the record label 3P .

biography

His solo career started Illmat! C with significant participation of the rapper and producer Moses Pelham , previously a demo tape had heard of the young artist. This was followed by guest appearances with Sabrina Setlur & Xavier Naidoo ; then the first albums Illastration and Still Ill , which, however, received little attention. Together with Kool Savas, DJ Release & DJ Katch , the album Friends of the Sun was created - Just 24 hours. , which was recorded in exactly 24 hours after a spontaneous idea.

His album Brillant , which was due to be released in 2003, was suspended because it appeared in various Internet exchange sites months before it was released.

In 2004 he released the album Officillz Bootleg - the boy ILLZ . Half of the album consists of the pieces from the never-released Brillant album and the other half of new songs.

He was also mentioned in the Disstrack The Reckoning by Eko Fresh , to which he replied with Nich with Illz .

Officillz Bootleg 2 - Brilliant 2.0 appeared in January 2006 , after the publication had been postponed several times in 2005. It contains previously known tracks - including from the actual Brillant album - as well as new ones.

Together with Kool Savas he forms the friends of the sun .

He also appears under his real name as a stand-up comedian , e.g. B. in the show NightWash or in the Quatsch Comedy Club .
