Alle Farben (born June 5, 1985 in Berlin ; bourgeois Frans Zimmer ) is a German DJ and music producer . He mainly produces and plays deep house and tech house .

Life & Career

Frans Zimmer grew up in Berlin-Kreuzberg , the district where he still lives and works today. His parents run a junk shop. After finishing secondary school , Zimmer initially wanted to study painting, but failed the entrance examination at the University of the Arts in Berlin. Instead, he completed a year and a half training as a graphic designer at a private school. He broke off his training and in the following years earned his living doing odd jobs - most recently three and a half years as a pastry chef in a Berlin café. He also sold self-made postcards in pubs and painted pictures that he sold or gave away to friends.

Since 2009 he has concentrated on music production. Inspired by the artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser , he initially called himself "Hundert Farben", later he changed his artist name to "Alle Farben". He was best known through SoundCloud . His breakthrough came in 2012 when he played on May 1st at the Electro Swing Club Open Air in front of around 30,000 people at the former Tempelhof Airport in Berlin.

Frans Zimmer has been under contract with the Guesstimate / b1 Recordings label and Budde Music publisher since 2014. His debut album Synesthesia - I Think in Colors was released on 2014 on the new Berlin imprint of the same name "Synesthesia". Zimmer has a mild form of synesthesia . The first single was She Moves (Far Away) with Graham Candy on April 15, 2014 . Zimmer described the genre of this song as singer-songwriter-folk-electro.

The remake of the title Supergirl by the band Reamonn , produced together with singer Anna Naklab and the producer duo Younotus , reached the top of the Austrian charts and stayed in the German charts for 42 weeks and achieved platinum status .

In 2016 the second album Music Is My Best Friend was released . The single Please Tell Rosie from the album Music Is My Best Friend , which Alle Farben had once again produced in cooperation with Younotus, landed at number 3 in the German single charts and earned Alle Farben its second platinum award. The third single, Bad Ideas , which was created together with singer Chris Gelbuda, also reached the top 10 of the German single charts. In the summer of 2016 Alle Farben performed at a number of festivals, including the Awakenings Festival in the Netherlands, the SonneMondSterne -Festival and the MS Dockville .

In 2017 Alle Farben released his single Little Hollywood , which was created in collaboration with singer Janieck Devy , who is known as the singer of Lost Frequencies Reality . In 2018 the song Fading , for which the Albanian-Swiss singer ILIRA contributed the vocals as the featured artist, was released. In 2019 the single Walk Away was released , which recorded Alle Farben together with British singer James Blunt , Alle Farben remixes by Khalid & Disclosure (band) s Talk , Gavin James ' Always , Zara Larssons Don`t Worry `Bout Me , Sarah Connors Vincent and Martin Jensen (DJ) & James Arthurs Nobody , as well as the singles Different For Us (together with Jordan Powers) and As Far As Feelings Go (together with Justin Jesso).

January 2020 the single Follow You was released , which was recorded together with the Swedish singer and songwriter Alexander Tidebrink.
