Ercandize
Ercandize (born April 12, 1978 in Bochum ; real name Ercan Koçer ) is a German rapper .
biography
Ercan Koçer is of Turkish descent and has a degree in economics. He got into hip-hop through Ice Cube's LP AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted . As Ercandize he turned to MCing from 1993 to 1995 and founded the ABS crew with Sedat and Daiker One . The crew was completed by the beat maker Discopolo , DJ Salicious and Short , who embodies the second voice of ABS. The first Maxi 08-15 / Focus appeared in 1999 . This was how the second Maxi mathematics also, in the hip-hop magazine Juice for 12Inch the month voted to mid-1999 was followed by the record deal with Uprock Records / BMG. Features with Plattenpapzt , Too Strong , RAG , Roey Marquis and other artists followed. After 2 more Maxis, the debut album Kinderspiel - Easier done than said, followed in 2001, a year late . He reached the 46th place in the German charts.
Due to differences, the separation from Uprock Records followed. After a quiet phase, Kool Savas became aware of the talent through a feature on Illmatic's album and invited Ercandize to Berlin . The two hit it off and recorded the first tracks together. Ercandize was then signed to Optik Records and is an integral part of the Optik Army . In September 2006, the Optik Army released the album Optik Takeover. In April 2007 he released his debut album Scorched Earth and founded his own label Assazeen . After Burning Earth, the mixtape Best of Ercandize Vol. 2: I am Legend and the street album Uppercut were released. After the closure of Optik Records initially no solo projects followed, because together with Nabil M. and Yahya he formed the Illicite crew. A download album was finally released under this name.
