Chakuza
Chakuza (* 22. February 1981 in Linz ; bourgeois Peter Pangerl ) is an Austrian Hip-Hop - musicians .
biography
Chakuza is a trained chef and after his training founded the Verbale Systematik formation together with DJ Stickle and MC J , which was renamed Beatlefield in 2002. A little later J left the formation. From 2005 onwards, the producer duo was responsible for a large part of the productions by ersguterjunge , on which Chakuza is also represented with features. However, he sees himself as a rapper rather than a producer .
In 2005 the rapper Bushido received a demo CD from the producer team at a concert in Austria. This was convincing and both Chakuza and DJ Stickle were signed to the ersguterjunge label. In 2006 Chakuza moved from Austria to Berlin.
Chakuza and DJ Stickle can already be found on the albums Staatsfeind No. 1 and the ersguterjunge sampler Vol. 1 Nemesis by Bushido. In April 2006, ersguterjunge Chakuzas and Stickles released the album Search and Destroy with features by Bushido, Baba Saad , D-Bo and Bahar. He also recorded the song Vendetta with Eko Fresh and Bushido .
At the beginning of October 2006 the collaboration album Blackout followed together with Bizzy Montana . It entered the German album charts at number 69 .
On March 2, 2007 his first solo album City Cobra was released , which entered the German album charts at number 10. Previously, the single Your Children , on which Bushido can be heard, was released on February 23rd. On March 7, 2007, Chakuza and Bushido were guests at TRL .
In August 2007, Chakuza was nominated for the MTV Music Awards in the New Sounds of Europe category. As part of Music Week , which took place a week before the awards were presented, Chakuza performed alongside KIZ and Samy Deluxe at the Urban Sounds evening in Munich's Kesselhaus on October 29th . He was the replacement for the rappers B-Tight and Sido , who were supposed to headline but had to cancel.
On May 16, 2008, Chakuza's second solo album was released under the sun . The video for the single of the same name was released on April 24, 2008 and was also released on May 16, 2008.
On April 16, 2010, Chakuza's third solo album Monster in mir was released through ersguterjunge. Shortly before that, the digital single Monster appeared , on which the Jamaican reggae singer Konshens is represented.
In November 2010, Chakuza left the ersguterjunge label. He justified the departure by saying that he would like to act more independently from now on. At the same time he moved back from Berlin to his hometown Linz.
On December 3, 2010 the mixtape Search & Destroy II was released , on which guest contributions by Timid Tiger , Vega , Bizzy Montana, Marc Sloan, Jack Untawega, D-Bo, David Asphalt and Nyze are included. Musically it then became quiet about the rapper. Dissatisfaction with the previous style and personal problems were the reasons for the creative break.
In November 2012, Chakuza announced that he was now under contract with Four Music .
On March 8, 2013, Chakuza released the album Magnolia . The fourth solo album is stylistically and musically different from the previous releases. Chakuza was previously known as a battle and gangster rapper, but now he is thoughtful, sensitive and reflective.
In mid-February 2014, Chakuza made a guest appearance in the ATV series Vienna - Day & Night .
On September 5th he released the album Exit and at the same time announced his retreat to the Dutch province, where he has found his haven of peace.
To complete the trilogy alongside Magnolia and Exit , Chakuza released the album Noah in 2016.
After that he announced that he wanted to produce Battlerap albums again in the future. In March 2017, he released Blackout 2, along with Bizzy Montana .
Chakuza is best known for being less involved in everyday life and for living a little withdrawn. He is generally regarded as a taciturn and brittle type.
On May 31, 2019, Chakuza released the EP Aurora on the iGroove platform .
