Tarééc

Tareec (* 3. July 1978 in Berlin ; bourgeois Tarek Hussein ) is a German R'n'B - singer Lebanese - Palestinian descent from Berlin-Neukölln .

Life

Tarééc grew up in Berlin-Neukölln as the son of a large family from Lebanon and Palestine under poor conditions. He started singing at the age of 13 and then sang at school parties and street parties. He also played soccer at Tasmania Berlin and later at Hertha 03 Zehlendorf . At the age of 16, as a U16 national player, he broke off his football career and from then on concentrated mainly on music. At the beginning of the 90s he founded his first band, Da Corner , which consisted of four rappers and himself. At that time he was still performing under the stage name T-Soul . He was discovered by the casting show Blonds Talent Award and shortly afterwards got his first recording contract . So he became a member of the boy group The Boyz , which until then consisted of Florian Fischer and Adel Tawil . With this he released the two studio albums Boyz in da House (1997) and Next Level (1998). The single One Minute achieved gold status . After the dissolution in 2000, Tarééc fell into a deep depression and gambling addiction . Through a psychologist who advised him to write down his feelings and experiences in songs, he began again with music.

In April 2007 Tarééc signed a contract with the hip-hop label ersguterjunge . A short time later the freetrack I hold your hand with Bushido was offered as a download .

In November 2008 Tarééc released the single For the People from his debut album Hope . The song features a rapper Chakuza feature. In addition, Bushido, Oliver Petszokat , Bizzy Montana , Adel Tawil and DJ Stickle can be seen in the corresponding music video . The second single Tears Don't Lie followed . The album Hope was released on May 8, 2009 . This includes guest contributions by the ersguterjunge rappers Nyze and Chakuza. In February 2010 Tarééc left ersguterjunge amicably.
