The Boyz was a German boy band . It was founded at the end of 1996 in the studios of the Berlin music producer Triple-M. The band's greatest success was the single One Minute , released in autumn 1997 , which reached the top ten in the German charts.
history
In the winter of 1993, Fischer and Tawil met at Club Future . Tawil brought Hussein with him to a joint meeting. In 1995 the three were discovered by Triple M management in a talent competition. The saxophonist Di Blasi, who spontaneously joined the group, also performed in this talent competition. According to Fischer, he found the fifth member at a Berlin fashion show in Kroll-Marongiu, who worked there as a model. In the spring of 1997, the band's first single, Round & Round, was released, which was slightly more successful than the second single, Let Me Show You The Way . With the third single, One Minute , the band finally made it into the top ten. Adel Tawil, who later became the singer of the music project Ich + Ich , wrote the text .
