term

The two artist names (be it solo artists or bands ) are denoted by a feat. or ft. associated with each other in the artist name of the respective piece, with the main artist in front of the “featuring” term. This can also be translated as “with the support of”. The second named is the guest interpreter.

A similar and well-known term in music is “ versus ” ( Latin : “against”). Usually versus with vs. abbreviated. This term is often used for remixes or rearrangements by a DJ (especially mashups ). Sometimes the English term duet with (in German: ' Duett mit') is also common. In addition, the phrase present (s) or introducing is used for a previously unknown feature guest.
