The song is based on Sir Mix A Lot's song "Swass" ("Don't you wish your boyfriend was swass like me?") From 1988. There are two versions of the song, the original only has the Pussycat Dolls, the second is additional with rapper Busta Rhymes , the latter version became a number one hit in the UK, Australia, Canada, Germany and New Zealand and a number two hit in the US.

Music video

The music video consists entirely of the dance of the Pussycat Dolls and attracted a lot of media attention at the time of publication. The hot dances and the accompanying freedom of movement helped the band to achieve their “sexy image”, which they used together with the media attention to market themselves and their songs. The music video has been named the hottest music video ever by some magazines.

Remix versions

Some remix versions were produced by Ralphi Rosario, Kaskade and DJ Dan, which were released on July 19, 2005 on a maxi CD single. This contains the version of the song rapper Busta Rhymes and the original version without rapper.
