Miami 2 Ibiza is a song by Swedish house band Swedish House Mafia vs. Tinie Tempah . The song was available in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States on October 1, 2010. Miami 2 Ibiza is featured on the Until One and Disc-Overy albums and was written, composed and produced by Swedish House Mafia and Tempah. In the United States the single was released on Capitol Records, in the rest of the world on Polydor .

Music video

After the pre-instrumental version of the song on August 27, 2010 YouTube had been published, was released on October 1, coinciding with the publication of the single, also the official music video. The video at the beginning alternately shows a woman traveling all over Miami and Tempah rapping in a completely white room. After Tempahs Part one sees the woman at a party, in which the three DJs from Swedish House Mafia just make an appearance, and then, as among other topless travels bathing in the sea and swimming and to Ibiza. After Tinie Tempah's second part you only see her and Swedish House Mafia at a concert in Ibiza until the end. The music video was shot by Christian Larson. On December 9th of the same year a lyric video was published.

criticism

Nick Levine of Digital Spy said that if two genres that were comfortable bed mates (hip-hop and house) met, the world wouldn't move the moment they did something "dirty". The result of this mix would sound like a “Cam 'n' Cleggy coalition” in music. One could not criticize that this was not effective, but neither could one say that it worked seamlessly. He awarded three stars.
