Save the World is a song by the house group Swedish House Mafia . Written by Axwell , Steve Angello , Sebastian Ingrosso , John Martin , Michel Zitron and Vincent Pontare , the song hit the charts in many countries, going gold in Italy , platinum in Sweden and silver in the UK .
Music video
The official music video was first released on May 19, 2011 on the VEVO channel of Swedish House Mafia. It is 3 minutes and 36 seconds long. So far, it has received over 45,000,000 clicks on YouTube. The video initially shows two women walking down the street, a salesman in a supermarket and a man in his car who turns on the song Save the World . Suddenly a criminal comes and attacks one woman from behind, another breaks the window of the man's car and pulls it out the door. In another scene, two more burglars appear who obviously want to attack the seller and rob the shop. Then some dogs come running quickly towards the various bad guys and knock them all down in a row. At the end you can see the dogs running behind the stolen car, whereupon the thief is astonished and looks out of the rear window. When he looks ahead again, two puppies are sitting on the street and he tries to avoid the car, which overturns because of the sharp bend.
reception
The song usually received positive reviews. RTL.de, for example, commented:
"The house hymn hits you right away and automatically triggers all the sing-along reflexes:" Turn Up The Love Now, Listen Up Now, Turn Up The Love ". The song, in which the Swedish singer John Martin can be heard, also offers a small foretaste of the long player from the Swedish House Mafia that will be released this summer. "
